Next generation coaster

Royal Roos and Friday shipbrokers have developed a concept for next generation coaster dry cargo vessels.

The RF 3200/4000 Coasters are designed to carry numerous types of cargo in line with today's markets. Key in the design approach is that the vessel can be easily converted from a straight forward MGO driven vessel into various hybrid propulsion options like (part) battery driven of LNG driven. Other solutions are also possible.

By combining the experience of working on new technologies from the engineers of Royal Roos and the knowledge of the market from Friday shipbrokers it has resulted in a well-thought-out concept. Developing a coaster that is future proof, whatever rules and regulations come in place and that does not require large initial investment.

This vessel allows you to renew your fleet without having to choose and invest in new technology immediately. The vessel is suited for adaption to install battery packs, BWT plant or other new systems at a later stage.
