Top support for sea fastening of lift

To support a lift giving access to a W2W system of Ampelmann Royal Roos was asked to perform structural engineering calculations and drawing works. The lifts is connected to the warehouse on an Offshore Supply Vessel. FEM calculations were done to verify the structural strength of the support and ship’s structure under various loading conditions (LR CLAME). This included amongst others, weld and other checks according EUROCODE 3. Provision of basic engineering drawings was part of the scope.
