Royal Roos enters the market for industrial scale 3D printing with Royal3D

Finally we could show the (maritime) industry what we have been telling many people about. The CFAM printer being built for us by CEAD in Delft. One of the main features next to build volume of 4 x 2 x 1.5 m and print capacity of 15 kg/h is the ability to add continuous fiber (CFAM) to the matrix of thermoplastic materials.

Under the cooperation agreement between Royal Roos and CEAD we will continue to assist companies through our sister company Royal3D with looking for innovative solutions for production, prototyping and replacing existing parts and components made from steel in the maritime domain mainly. The reasons for doing this are multiple: lightweight manufacturing, better corrosion resistance, shorter time to market and being able to get a feel for what you are designing at an early stage of the product development.

In case you need more information or a demonstration what can be done with this new machine feel free to contact us (www.royalroos.com / www.royal3d.nl).
